Every Child Deserves a Future Filled With Hope
We provide safety, care, and opportunity to abandoned, abused, and neglected children — so they can heal, grow, and thrive.
Restoring Hope and Life to Vulnerable Children
The Matthew 25 Project is a registered South African non-profit and public benefit organisation dedicated to restoring dignity, safety, and hope to vulnerable children and families.
Rooted in the words of Matthew 25 – “Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for Me” – our work goes beyond charity. We respond to real human need with compassion, accountability, and practical action.
Through cluster foster care, education support, feeding programmes, outreach initiatives, and community partnerships, we walk alongside those facing abandonment, poverty, neglect, and crisis – offering not only relief but also a pathway toward healing and long-term stability.
Our Commitment to a Brighter Future for Every Child
Mission
To provide a place of safety, love, and restoration for vulnerable children by meeting their physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs.
Inspired by Matthew 25, we serve “the least of these” through foster care, education, feeding programmes, family support, and community outreach — equipping every child in our care to heal, grow, and thrive.
Vision
We dream of growing children’s villages where every child knows they are wanted, safe, protected, and deeply loved.
A place where:
• No child is forgotten
• Healing replaces trauma
• Education unlocks potential
• Families are strengthened
• Hope is restored
It is the Lord’s vision, and we trust Him to lead every step.

Our Story
A Journey of Hope and Transformation
Born from a desire to protect the most vulnerable, The Matthew 25 Project has grown into a beacon of hope for children who had nowhere else to turn.
How We Got Started
Our journey began with a simple but powerful vision: to care for the vulnerable and to create a safe haven for children in crisis. With only a handful of volunteers and limited resources, we opened our first emergency shelter in partnership with local authorities and child protection organisations.
